Hair TRIM

So I went to my go-2 place for a haircut nowadays...which is SUPERCUTS...for a TRIM...mind you that I have not put a scissors to my hair since November when I first got it cut so I knew there would be some damage on my ends. Anyway I went and told the Stylist I needed a trim and she took a look at my hair and asked if I just want all the dead ends cut off so naturally I said yes. So she takes a section of hair and shows me how much is damaged which was about 2 inches. What could I do?? So I just let her cut it even though I was kinda upset about it but it is kinda my fault because I waited soooo long for a trim. But in the end I love the results and my hair feels sooo much better now so I am glad I went and did it instead of holding on to length that was damaged. Pics will b up tomorrow after I straighten it some more(got caught in the rain today so it curled up a lil bit)
